Shipper KPIs

Shipper KPIs allow you to track the performance of your shippers or suppliers (as per user’s selection) in the specific time period as per booking delays; volume of processed, amended and cancelled shipments; shipments outside nominated shipping window; departure delays.  

 

To access the Shipper KPI page:

  1. On the Main Menu, click Business Intelligence>KPIs
  2. When redirected to the KPIs page, click Shipper KPIs.

 


 

Note

The page allows you to see data for multiple companies, depending on your account accesses, the detailed explanation of which can be found in Key Performance Indicatorsunder the section Data for Multiple Companies.

 

 

The page by default, shows the KPIs of all your shippers. You can manually change the party type into Supplier to generate your suppliers’ KPIs. 

 

Note

The options of Shipper/Supplier fields display the Business Partner Name. In case several Business Partners belong to the same Company, then only Company name is displayed. In case no Business Partner name is available, Company name is used instead.

 

To select the party type

  1. Take the two initial steps described here.
  2. On the upper left corner of the page, click either Shipper or Supplier.

 

After selecting the party type – Shipper of Supplier, the page shows the KPIs of all your shippers or suppliers. 

 

To filter a desired company (ies)

    3. Under Shipper/Supplier, click the drop-down and search or select the desired 

        shipper/supplier (multi-select option). 



Note

The shipments data are shown based on the selected unit (TEUs, Kg, Containers or Shipments) the details of which can be found in Key Performance Indicators, under the section Units.

Note

The page by default displays the KPI data in the chart view, which can any time be switched to table view in Flexmonster, the details of which can be found in Key Performance Indicators, under the section Chart and Table Views of KPIs.

  


Volume per Shipper/Supplier

Volume per shipper/supplier KPI shows the number of units (TEU, shipments, containers) for the selected period of time. The section shows only the number of shipments with status confirmed and higher, excluding rejected and cancelled ones.  

The base for the calculation of the number of shipments are those orders that are connected to the shipments.

 

To view the chart

1.  Take the two initial steps described here.

2.  Under Additional Filters, scroll to the first chart. 

 

The figure below shows the volume of the confirmed bookings with the shipping window set within the previous month calculated in TEU.  


Booking Delays

Booking delays chart shows the number of unit (TEUs, containers, shipments) with a difference between the latest ETD and first sending of booking to carrier. The charts show only shipments with status shipped and higher, while rejected and cancelled shipments are excluded from them. 

The time periods are categorized as follows: 

  • less than 21-day [grey]
  • 21-day or more (but more than 0 day) [yellow]

 

To view the chart

1.  Take the two initial steps described here.

2.  Under Additional Filters, scroll to the second chart. 

 

The figure below shows the booking delays as per number of containers by all shippers with the shipping window set within the previous quarter.  


The categories are represented in percentages in different colors on the right side of the chart and by clicking on each of them you can visually add or omit their data. 


Volume of Processed, Amended and Cancelled Shipments

The chart shows number of shipments (containers, TEUs) as per following categories: 

  • Processed shipments (with status Confirmed) [grey]
  • Amended shipments (i.e., there were amendments in booking confirmation (both manual and automatic)) [yellow]
  • Cancelled shipments - [red]

The calculation includes also rejected and cancelled (if last status) shipments.

 

Note

Based on the categorization, the same shipment can appear in multiple categories.

 

To view the chart

  1. Take the two initial steps described here.
  2. Under Additional Filters, scroll to the third chart. 


The figure below shows the volume of processed, amended and cancelled shipments as per shipments unit with the shipping window set within the previous month.  

The categories are represented in percentages indifferent colors on the right side of the chart and by clicking on each of them you can visually add or omit their data. 


 

Shipments Outside Nominated Shipping Window

The chart shows average difference between the last day of the shipments shipping window and ATD at POL in days, or ATD at POR if POR<>POL. The chart includes only shipments with Status Shipped and higher in case POR=POL, and Departed and higher in case POR<>POL (however, in this case it does not include statuses between Departed and Shipped). 

The chart does not include shipments with missing ATD at POL and shipments with status Rejected or Cancelled.

The time periods are categorized as follows:

  • Less than 7-day [green]
  • 7-day or more [red]

 

To view the chart

  1. Take the two initial steps described here.
  2. Under Additional Filters, scroll to the fourth chart. 

 

The figure below shows the shipments outside nominated shipping window with the shipping window set within the previous quarter.  

The categories are represented in different colors on the right side of the chart and by clicking on each of them you can visually add or omit their data. 


Note

The displayed values can be also negative.


The departure delays chart shows number of shipments (TEUs, containers) departed later than allocated shipping window of shipments (or orders).

 

The time periods of the departure delays are categorized as per follows:

  • On-Time (number of shipments ATD is within all connected orders' shipping windows) [green]
  • Partially On-Time (umber of shipments ATD is within of at least one of connected orders' shipping windows) [yellow]
  • Delay (number of shipments ATD is later of all connected orders' shipping windows) [red]
  • Early (number of shipments ATD is earlier of all connected orders' shipping windows) [blue]

  2. Under Additional Filters, scroll to the fifth chart. 

 

The figure below shows the departure delays with the shipping window set within the previous quarter.  

The categories are represented in percentages in different colors on the right side of the chart and by clicking on each of them you can visually add or omit their data.
