HS Code Digit Extension

We have extended the maximum length of the HS (Harmonized System) Code across most Cargoo modules from 10 to 13 digits.

This update ensures greater flexibility and compliance with international trade requirements, while maintaining alignment with U.S. Customs restrictions.

Important Exception:

AES and ISF modules remain capped at 10 digits, as U.S. Customs does not accept HS Codes longer than 10 digits; therefore, the system will automatically truncate the entries to 10.

The following modules now support up to 13-digit HS Codes:

• Orders
• Shipments
• Carrier BL Instructions (CBLI)
• House Shipments
• GSI Determination
