Update to Shipments BI Report

What Has Been Released?

We’ve made an important update to the Shipments per Order tab in the Shipments BI report, enhancing its usability and aligning it with user feedback. This update changes how data is presented, so users will now see separate rows for each order associated with a shipment, allowing for more detailed visibility.

Changes to the Shipments BI Report:

  • The Shipments per Order tab will now display one row for each unique combination of Order and Shipment, replacing the previous display where all orders for a shipment were listed in a single row.
  • If a shipment is linked to multiple orders, the report will show multiple rows (one per order).
  • Similarly, if an order is linked to multiple shipments, each shipment will appear on a separate row.

What Does This Mean for You? This update is designed to make it easier for you to track orders and shipments, especially in cases where multiple orders or shipments are linked. With this change, you will have more control over your data and a clearer view of the relationships between orders and shipments.

Next Steps: If you have created custom templates for this report, we encourage you to review them considering the changes.

How to Use the Updated Shipments per Order Tab in Shipments BI Report

Step 1: Navigate to BUSINESS INTEGILLENCE > CARGOO BI in the Cargoo platform

Step 2: Continue to the Reports tab and select the Shipments to open the Shipments report.

Step 3: You will now see separate tab for Shipments per Order. Your reports will now show separate rows for each Order x Shipment combination, making it easier to track orders linked to individual shipments.

  • If multiple orders are linked to one shipment, each order will appear on a separate row.
  • If multiple shipments are linked to one order, each shipment will appear on a separate row.

Step 4: Use additional filters to refine the report data displayed for each order and shipment.

Important Considerations:

Existing templates may need to be adjusted to accommodate the new row structure.
