New Exceptions on Vessel Name Updates

We added a new exception to notify you if a vessel name is changed. Companies can now subscribe to receive notifications for the following exception events:

• Change of vessel name for a vessel departing from a port of loading (POL).
• Change of vessel name for a vessel arriving at a port of discharge (POD).

In the Active Exceptions tab of the shipment, the previous and new names of the vessels are now displayed, and this information will be sent to the subscribed users via email and push notifications, depending on configurations in the Exception & Tasks section of the Company section and the Notifications Setup in the user Profile.

What’s Changed

New Exception Type: In the Exception & Task Setup section of the company, the types ArrivalVesselUpdated and DepartureVesselUpdated are added for both categories, Informative and Actionable.

The list of users who will receive and resolve the update notification, as well as configure the notification text, vessel names, and the way of being notified, can be configured.
